Thursday food diary

Water: 16 oz

Day 2 of thigh reconstruction (hehe)

So um, yesterday blew. For a variety of reasons. And instead of hte tillapia I planned for dinner, I had pretzels and champagne. There are methods to my madness, trust me. But don't worry, I'm back. And the diet plan just says, hop right back on that train.

Late night eating

Hi all -

I'm back, hopefully for good. Food diary will be up in a second, but I haven't eaten anything yet today because I feel like crap. Want to know why?

Beer.
Late night munching from the beer.

This is the THIRD night this week I have done this. Drink too much. Get home, fix a snack, eat it in bed. Don't get me wrong - this was my MO for years. But I thought I had broken myself of this habit!!

So I have some dietary news.

Starting Tuesday, I'm going to be following this "diet" for 10 days. I'd call it a detox, but that's not at all what it is, because I'm eating completely normal foods. Instead, it's more of a habit-breaker. On this "diet" (I'm hesitant to call it that because really, again, it's not a diet in the sense that you're restricting yourself, really. It's a diet in the lifestyle choice way) I will not be eating simple carbs, I'll be eating tons of veggies, and I'll be dry for the entire period.

Well. Ok. A few caveats.

1. If I'm doing my math correctly, 10 days is Tuesday, April 28 through Thursday, May 7. My parents will be in town during this time, and so I may have a glass of wine when they're here.
2. You'll note that there's not supposed to be any kind of sugary whatever on the "diet". But I've found the likelihood of me eating something bad for me decreases a HUGE percent if I end my day with strawberries and a small piece of dark chocolate. So I'm including it. Deal.
3 It says one glass of green tea allowed per day. I'm going to call bull and say that as long as I drink an additional 8 oz of water per cup of green tea, I'm allowed to drink as much as I want.
4. I know that it's supposed to last for 3 weeks, and really? My plan is to keep going for as long as I can, HOWEVER. Because May is a big month personally (graduations, birthdays, etc) I will add alcohol back in after 10 days.

So.

For those 10 days I think I probably won't do food diaries, and instead switch back to stats so that we can see whether or not I'm sticking to it without me having to write "cup of veggies" every hour. Sound fair?

I'm excited, y'all. I need some serious habit breaking. Esp after this weekend, which you will see, is going to be a shitshow of badness. Yay!
